The CPCAB Level 2 Certificate is an excellent official introduction to the field of counselling.

No previous training or experience is 
necessary.

The overall assessment is carried out on an ongoing basis with a portfolio of work and observations of practice.

Successful completion of Level 2 may lead to the progression onto Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies. 

This qualification does not qualify you to be a counsellor on its own, however it does provide an ideal opportunity to develop counselling skills as a skilled helper, which can be useful in a wide range of situations.
